considering the fact that I am "ED" I am well aware of the pills designed to make me go away
The reason everyone started to buy pickup trucks and SUVs is because they started making them ride like cars....I want my SS to ride like a car...not an old pickup truck on a cow path..

Damn! And I thought people started buying them because they had people and cargo to haul that didn’t fit in a car

an old pickup truck on a cow path
One of my best memories was in an old pickup on a dirt path...still talk to that memory to this day once in a while...LOL

Now they all have power steering, cruise control, air conditioning, automatics, high end radios, power windows and locks, 4 doors, plush interiors, enhanced ride features. Trucks and SUVs are more like cars now than cars. And they cost more than my house. Vehicle prices have gone up roughly $1000 every year. $3,000 in 1972—— $50,000 today.
I haven’t owned a “car” since the 80s... owned over 30 conversion vans and many pickups.. right now 3 vans and a pickup. Owning a car never even comes to my mind when considering a vehicle.
Everyone knows the SS is a 3 wheel car with a motorcycle designation.........................

Well, is the SlingShot a car or isn't it??
Just fun'n Bigdog.

Asking someone how to adjust the shocks is as difficult as asking people which women to date. It's all a personal choice. One wants to think he's riding a
Barcalounger, and the next guy wants to think he's in Indy racer. I'd say to adjust all three in the middle and adjust the fronts 2 clicks in either direction until it gets too much one way vs the other, then split the difference. Do the same with the rear and you'll have it set the way YOU want it on the roads you ride. Then make any fine tuning adjustments as your riding routine changed ie; Highway driving, tail of the dragon runs, etc
Was that dating advice?
I like making those tail adjustment on HER!
Was that dating advice?
Yes. Turn the rear adjustment all the way to the left and you have one compression and 6 rebounds. Really conserves energy that way
You’re over analyzing
A guy asked me the other day “what is that called” I said fun with a capital F

I think we have found something we can ALL agree on!!
Lets take a moment in silence to relish it!

I was going to agree but then saw the next post, which was accurate. Then the next, and the next. Then the next which was also accurate, then the next. Wait, who are we entertaining? All info is available on this forum.

See...?
Now my initial response should be quoted and agreed upon...
But at least it doesn't seem like an argument yet... So... Thanks @Bigdog?
Well today I found my ideal shock setting....turned the knob full counter clockwise....rides like a luxury car....wooo hooo....
Good...once you get the alignment done it will be even better!

Ride comfort is going to be mostly based on the individual. Some guys (and ladies) like equal tightness/stiffness in both the front and the rear, while some prefer one or the other a little softer/looser.
Just make some changes and see what feels better.... But there are some rides that no amount of squishy shock is going to fix... Just sayin.
A good thing that @Tripod is not around!
