I have never used ear plugs on my motorcycles or the Sling.
Me either, not sure what I'm missing

I do not think we have missed anything
Just your hearing
Nope, worked in a noisy paper mill and a steel mill, hearing test every year on the same piece of equipment, and no changes. Been riding since May of 1964. Now, I do always use ear plugs for shooting. 70 years old this April

Fun that is good for you! I on the other hand have tinnitus so I welcome the opportunity to minimize any further hearing issues.

I welcome anything that will lessen the ringing...plus these are "dead sexy" and color coordinated!

I understand the wind noise and stuff, but doesn't it deaden all other noises, like radio, other vehicles, sirens or people talking?

No they aren't supposed to...the ones I got are customizable....I haven't had any luck with keeping ear phones, buds or sponge plugs in place. Hopefully these will do the trick
They are supposed to cut down wind noise but not impact/barely impact other sounds...

To be honest my nose Boise canceling headphones are the best thing I have used. Kills that horrible drown of my shocking loud Hahn exhaust and I can hear passengers fine (assuming I am not listening to anything).
Down side is they require a charge and are corded, but it doesn't bother me . I even tried them at the range and they are surprising good.

Price keeps coming down, but they are worth every penny.
I have eargasim cause I was fingering my ear, so I'll try those this week.

Shatney, the eargasms are made for musicians performing on stage and going to concerts. They're fantastic. They don't diminish the clarity of sound. Nothing gets muffled, it just drops the level a few decibels.

So i have heard good thing about Eargasm Ear Plugs, but these Decibullz are catching my eye, especially like the fact that they sell parts for them so if something wears out you can just replace that.
@DKF Texas how long have you had yours and how do you like them, I know what they are supposed to do but how do they actually do in RL test.
Decibullz are ear plugs right? They're not designed for high fidelity sound transfer.

Correct but that is what i was looking for when i came across the eargasm something to protect my hearing during highway rides, slow back roads i can live with nothing but it sure gets loud on the highways.
Now the reason i ask @DKF Texas how they work is because i have purchased many earplugs in the past that claim many things but usually fail to outperform a cheap foam plug.
These decibull are aesthetically pleasing and "seems" like they will perform great and best of all looks like they will stay in the darn ear.

I picked up the eargasms because I've spent way too much on sound in my sling to just have it muffled by plugs. The eargasms are quite cool in that you can still hear the highs in music. It's impressive. Of course at the price you should just buy both pair and use them based on what you need at the time!

Ohhhhhhh I didn't know you had the eargasm... i am guessing that you like them and they do what they claim... interesting.
"Alexa order a pair of eargasm ear plugs"

I have two pair of eargasms and a set of Vibes. The eargasms are superior and come in a keychain case.
