Who would be up for a mid Feb trip to Murphy NC

With current forecast ,it looks like maybe Feb 17th and 18th ?
Like you say ,it will have to get closer to have a decent idea.
I'm in if possible when a date is nailed down .
@ShutterBug will probably be in as well.
My throat is a little scratchy , a recovery day will be necessary by then I'm sure .

I will talk to @KayTwo, but I don't see the logistics working out for us this time around.

Yeah, mom was just part of the Lowe's restructuring thing. She (luckily) kept her job, but her schedule has changed. And we have that whole pesky move thing to plan for...

will see. I would drive up for a day run if warm enough. Just remember that there may still be gravel on the roads from winter weather up in the fun areas. So being careful will be top priority.

@rabtech, @Wrenchmn, unfortunately, my bride is right, as usual. I will be driving down to Greenville on the 17th to close on our new house (barring any cat-ass-trophies), and then on the 18th we are hosting our going-away party at the house. And packing. And cleaning.

Although...now you've given me the idea to maybe drive the Sling down to Greenville, if the weather isn't too cold.

We all know that Murphy is really an excuse to exercise the newest reincarnation of the white beast....Is @Dogs going to lead the charge again?

No worries, we pull other peoples' chains and fully expect the favor to be returned. The good news is that with the closing on the house, that's one step closer to actually becoming residents of SC and being closer to all the fun!
