Black would be good but I think the color one would be better. The white text sticker
so when can I start sending you parts to be PC?....
Everyone could use practice... Even experts.
Honestly a great write up...might set something up like this sooner than later.
Thanks for the conpliments...
You know it's just as bad as painting with liquids. It's all based on how good your prep is... You could probably take a spoon and sprinkle it on evenly and it would look pretty good. But if the surface has a scratch or a drop of contamination on it it will look like crud.
Yes, I know. If I had to do again, I would have prepped the scoop on my top myself to get rid of the scratches and stuff.

Oh it will all be white when I'm finished! I have all my pipes stripped and ready.....and I have and couple of valve covers so one will be white when im done
...
The black valve cover with white coil cover and black hoses/white clamps looks nice with your exterior black/white combo...
Looks nice and shiny! Thanks for your quick reply. I'll give a little heat a try. Just as soon as I can get that damn top bolt off the rear shock. Kind of a PITA when doing it yourself, with two fused wrists. My way of thinking is that if they can build the great Wall of China by hand, one brick and a few bodies at a time, I can surely do fill in the blank
@Solow you are using the access hole in the passenger storage compartment to get the top bolt out?
I am, but so far I haven't rigged a way to hold the wrench on the other side. Long way to say that, but if I said holding the nut on the other side, Tripod would've been all over that, lol
You're taking off the alpha and putting back the HAHN!!
No. Not yet. I have some more test to do...
Since @Shatneyman has thrown out the pictures of the beautiful white goodies I have went back to the drawing board...
It's 29 degrees outside so I guess I will do a "how to" take a cheap powder coat gun and turn it into a really awesome powder coating gun.
HAHA.... 87 degrees and sunny here!

There is no nut to hold. It's welded on.
Well I'll be damned! Well, luckily, not too much blood was donated to the cause. Thank you for the information.

They do that so you can just slide the bolt out the hole and then slide it back without needing to take the back off..
Yeah, I suppose I should have done some research first. I'm sure it's covered in the forum somewhere. Just thought I might as well suck it up and get it done.
I am pulling my rear shock today, to change the spring. Your info on the bolt was a timely reminder. Thanks
Finished a few more pieces today.
