I just installed the Cycle Springs led's in all 6 of my headlights. The reason I did it was the 30 amp circuit breaker would not support the high beams for the Canadian and the center headlights which is on the same circuit. It got hot real quick and started cycling on and off. Now I do not have that problem.

How much did the cost? Do you knows the lumens?

Do not remember what the lumens are but they are bright. $99.99 for the Canadian and $147.99 for the stock 4 headlights. Center headlight 12v 26w and 2600LM the outsides are 12v 36w and 3300LM Had to go look at my boxes

@rabtech had been running 4 55W HIDs and two 18W LED Lights in the Canadian headlight locations, IIRC. You might try asking him for the model/brand specifics.
Me???

like @rabtech I run 3.5" round LED driving lights in the Canadian light location. I also have amber covers over mine that can be removed if I want. I did have to make a mounting bracket so my lights protude slightly out the front so the covers can be installed. I think @rabtech installed them without a special bracket.

I fine tuned my headlights last night. I retrofitted a set of FX-R projectors this past week. I have a set of HID 6000k D2S bulbs installed. The light output is amazing, here's a couple pics. It's hard to get a good pic but it has that hint of blue at the right angle from the cutoff line

I'm running Baja Designs lights. They fit like they were made for the Slingshot with very little modification. They are 4300 lumens per light, 8600 lumens turns night into day!

Are you guys wiring into the factory harness? How's the load on the circuit?

Check my post #4 here - Brighter front lights

I have the headlights on separate circuits and the HIDs are on its own power harness. I wouldn't run HIDs in any vehicle from the factory wiring.

used the factory fog light secure and added the switch. sourced matching plugs for the lights and just plugged them into the factory connectors located for the Canadian lights. Other than the switch the SS comes ready to install.

I was thinking of talking to my friend at Rigid Industries and see if they could do something like this for the sling.
@Ruptured Duck what do you think? I know you're familiar with their lights. -
Why won't that work?
