Is there anybody staying else where other than the host hotel? Just curious, the host is a bit pricey, but that may the going rate. we do not get out much and go anywhere since our little one arrived. and on a budget now lol. I was thinking about what i just posted here and it was bothering me. so i had to pull over and add to this. first of all by NO means did i mean any disrespect to the guys/gals putting this event together. I know there is a lot of hard work and effort that is going into putting this event on, and have no doubt this will be an awesome event. our son was born early and wasn't sure if he was going to make it, i have a new look on life since he is here and god has blessed us. it is no longer just me and my wife and god and our son comes first. so if i can save a few dollars here and there to give him more than i had i will. so let me apologize again i did not mean any disrespect to the guys/gals putting this event on. it's just what i posted at the first of this did not sit well with me so i wanted to try to make it right that is all. and i hope i have

@Trooper, not sure if you looked at Expedia or called hotel directly. If you call the hotel the price is apx $95 per night. Tell them its for the Slingshot Invasion. Most of the hotels in the area, including the hotel we used last year, are more expensive. My wife and I live in Rogers and it's about 30-45 min. drive. We tried staying home all but one night the first year and it turned out to be more inconvenient than it was worth.
Hotels are kind of pricey in resort/tourist areas. Hope you can make it to Eureka. Would love to meet y'all! -
Since I have to make a late decision on this trip I'm assuming I will not being staying at the host hotel either.

Hey guys and gals, I just called the host hotel and i think i took the last room there but they did not have anything for Tuesday so i got booked from Wednesday through Saturday. we had plans driving up Tuesday. that is what i get for waiting to long lol.

So now I can't sit around and drink cold beers since I'm not staying at the host hotel... Well I guess I can put a tent up outside the hotel I pick and I can offer free slingshotinfo.com tshirts and stickers and cold beverages!...

Set in stone, we will head up Wed morning. Cant wait it is our only vacation.

I booked through Expedia at the Swiss Village Inn... I'm just gonna sleep there, but it was $49.00 per night... savings of $240.00 or 1/4 of the way to my new performance clutch...
See you there.

Do you need motorcycle license in Arkansas to drive SS?
Boomer where you at?
Arkansas classifies it as a motorcycle and requires a motyircycle license but does not require a helmet
However, the license from your home state required to operate a Slingshot is honored in all other 49 states. For example if your home state is Illinois where an autocycle license is required for a Slingshot but travel to Wisconsin where it is considered a motorcycle you can visit without having to get an motorcycle license.
You're probably more interested in whether a helmet is required in Arkansas or in any of the states you have to pass through to get there. You can find information about whether a helmet is required here: Map of motorcyle helmet laws
Polaris has the information on their website here regarding classification by state: License Requirements by State | Polaris Slingshot

@Boomer, you need a motorcycle license only if you are an AR resident. Otherwise it goes by where your license is issued.
You will need a helmet if you take any rides into MO. -
@dangerdarrell, thank to you and @Ross for the response. Just wonder if helmets are needed for the patio drinks, just sayin.
