I don't wear a helmet all the time and prefer not to in the slingshot. As weather predicts we like to have them along when we need them. We chose to carry half helmets for easy storage. Storage is a concern on extended trips. Just my thought.
HELMETS????

I'm with you @Andy Hatch and @Nemesis1701! Our pretty faces!

I always have a Helmet with me in case I get pulled over because there are helnet laws here in Massachusetts but I have never worn it once. I despise it with a burning passion. Takes all the fun out of it. I bought an F4 plus 5' windshield so no debris to my forehead just the freedom of the sun and wind in my face.
-
I wear shatter resistant wrap around glasses and the ball cap. And I have a 3inch taller wind screen. I try to stay below it.
I do agree that a rock could seriously ruin your day.....
-
I have the Bell helmet and love it. Also paired with the Sena headset (why else would you buy this helmet?) Its comfy, customizable, and I haven't had any issues with it at all.

I ride to work in the mornings with the temp between 25 and 35 for about 2 months out of the year. A full face helmet makes a big difference if you don't want to wait for the perfect riding conditions. For the rest of the year I use a Fly Racing half helmet or nothing at all. I have to wear s helmet to get to work because it is on a Military base.

My dear friend......did just read correctly....25-35 ......It's a typo right?

Heated seats, heated jacket liner, heated gloves. At 25 degrees I actually have to turn down the heat to the lowest setting after about 10 minutes. It is a comfortable ride.

I get cold now at 60 degrees... and I have super hot heated seats. And two sets of clothing on. I used to go out to the garage with shorts on when it was snowing. No more! I guess it's part of that getting old thing...

Last week on the way to work and to turn in for the recall.......,,a cool 19!!

I have a Nolan flip up full face, don't remember the model number at the moment. I only use it in rain and below 55 degrees. Also have a half helmet for out of state travel.
I went with a slim subwoofer so I could still get the helmet in the storage compartment with the sub.

Awe...a whole 25-35? You're cute
When I took my Sling to my dealer for it's recalls it was -25 C (-15 F) -31C with the windchill, not counting whatever was being created by riding hwy speeds in a toppless vehicle, lol
Flip up portion of the helmet was frosted up completely, lol -
I bought one of these to leave in the Slingshot. I try to avoid rain if I can, but won't leave it set just because there is a slight chance I might get caught in it. This helmet has vents in the top, and also under the brim in the front. There isn't a way to shut them off, but even on a cool day I've not noticed it bothering me. Nice feature on a hot day though. The nice thing about it is that it has the build in shield that slides up into the helmet. When the shield is down, the upper vents are open, when up the ones on the brim are. But if caught in rain, it keeps the road spray out of my eyes. Other than rain or in a state that requires a helmet, I ride without one. Nice to have with me if needed though. It's made by Scorpion, and runs $100-$130 depending which one you get and where.

in the past couple of riding seasons, i wore a full helmet off and on..mostly off with a ball cap. A few weeks ago, an 18 wheeler kicked up a rock and hit the left side of my helmet. if i had not been wearing it, there is no doubt a good chunk of my scalp would be missing. Scared the piss out of me. Thank God I was wearing one.

Bullshit.
Is that encouragement enough?
